To AMBLE is to walk or move at a slow relaxed pace and making art with clay is a way for me to celebrate this way of living. Ceramics is a slow process and has taught me so much about myself and about the patient rhythms of life that make it meaningful. I actually love it when my clay drying time is affected by the weather, it reminds me that I need to adjust to my surrounds just like the rest of nature. Much of my inspiration is drawn from growing up in Victoria, BC, adventuring and living in Carlsbad, California and digging roots down near Portland, Oregon. I love and enjoy all of the West Coast and I hope you see it reflected in my work.
